Series of lectures

Peter Meier and the hpo forecasting team regularly report on the model and the impact of the economy on incoming orders for capital goods. Regular publication and lecture activities at various associations (such as Swissmem and CECIMO) are on the agenda. In 2020 Managing Director, Josua Burkart, will hold a presentation at Swissmem Symposium in Zürich.  In 2019 his book will also appear, in which the most important realisations of the last 20 years are summarised.


Swissmem Symposium August 27th, 2020
The Swissmem Symposium brings together decision-makers from the Swiss mechanical engineering, electrical and metal (MEM) industries. Josua Burkart of hpo forecasting will again present the economic outlook specifically for the capital goods industry. The overriding theme of this year’s symposium is “The Challenge of Decarbonization – Solutions from the MEM industries”. Swissmem Symposium August 29th, 2019

Book launch June 18th, 2019
